The Committee of Bank Supervisors of West and Central Africa (CSBAOC) will hold its 23rd Annual Meeting from 10 to 12 November 2025 in Abuja, Nigeria.
This event will bring together representatives of central banks and supervisory authorities from more than twenty countries to discuss the advances in banking regulation and the opportunities offered by artificial intelligence for more effective supervision.
A major event hosted by the Central Bank of Nigeria, current Chair of the CSBAOC, to strengthen regional cooperation and promote the stability of the African financial system.

COBAC hosted the 22nd Annual Assembly of the CSBAOC in Libreville, Gabon
The Committee of Bank Supervisors of West and Central Africa (CSBAOC) held its 22nd annual meeting on April 4, 2025, in Libreville, Republic Gabonese. The work took place within the General Secretariat of the Central African Banking Commission (COBAC). The participants exchanged on several themes of common interest. They discussed in particular on the resilience of the banking sector despite recent shocks, risks related to cybercrime, money laundering and climate change, as well as progress in financial inclusion and prudential compliance. A program of activities for 2025 has been adopted to boost the functioning and visibility of the CSBAOC.
